MCAS is very excited to announce the school will serve as a collocation for an America’s Job Center of California (AJCC) at the beginning of the 2025-26 school year!
In collaboration with the Los Angeles County Workforce Development Board (WDB) and the County Department of Economic Opportunity (DEO), the Monrovia AJCC Affiliate begins operating in July 2025 as an affiliate of the East San Gabriel Valley AJCC (ESGV AJCC). Case Managers will be on campus Monday through Friday to provide Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) employment services to regional residents and businesses.
Monrovia AJCC Affiliate Hours of Operation: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.

If you are a job seeker wanting a new career or a local business searching for new employees, the Monrovia AJCC Affiliate provides excellent resources for you. Monrovia AJCC Affiliate Case Managers and the MCAS Career Center Specialist offers workshops on resumes, employment portfolios, effective job searches, professional attire and behavior, interviewing techniques, and other critical employment soft skills. Businesses can post jobs and participate in quarterly MCAS Job Fairs.
The Los Angeles County AJCC system provides education, training programs, and support services so job seekers can find careers and businesses find qualified employees. AJCCs can subsidize wages through various programs, upskill training, and can offer other resources so employers find and retain skilled workers. AJCCs connect job seekers to businesses so that this region can compete in a global economy.

Monrovia Community Adult School offers numerous short-term vocational programs that help your earn certifications and give you the skills you need to start a new career. MCAS teachers are experienced professionals who share their industry knowledge to give you a solid foundation for success in a new profession. These teachers also have significant industry contacts and resources to ensure that students who successfully complete our vocational programs have a high rate of job attainment.
In addition to our world class vocational programs, MCAS offers excellent Non-Technical Programs. Our English as a Second Language faculty is passionate, caring and committed to helping our students become proficient in English as quickly as possible. The MCAS Academic Lab offers a rigorous high school diploma program that prepares students for postsecondary education. Students seeking assistance with basic skills or test prep for the GED or HiSET can receive assistance from highly qualified instructors. And MCAS arts and crafts classes are taught by talented, successful artists.
